Moments Stays Pet Accommodation Policy

The policy below will apply to pet-friendly properties:

  1. Only small animals (up to 10kg) with up-to-date vaccinations and a friendly temperament will be accepted;
  2. A maximum of 1 animal per property will be allowed, and the proportion of the breed to the size of the rented property must be observed and any exception will be dealt with on demand in prior consultation, even before booking, with the Moments Stays team via WhatsApp +55 81 98396- 5474;
  3. only accommodation with females outside of the heat period is permitted;
  4. the animal must be treated against fleas and other possible parasites;
  5. the owner must ensure that the animal does not make noise that disrupts the well-being of residents/guests in neighboring properties;
  6. the owner must bring all of the pet's vaccination documents and carry them whenever traveling with the animal during the stay;
  7. the animal cannot be left alone in the property;
  8. it is not allowed to wash and dry the pet inside the property;
  9. the guardian must bring all the necessary utensils for the animal (Examples: food containers, guides, food, hygiene material, bed, medicines, toys and others), as well as being responsible for cleaning solid and liquid waste from the animal in the property and also in any common areas of the condominium;
  10. hygienic mats must be used in the property to control odor;
  11. In the social/common areas of the condominium, the animal must be transported with a leash and collar, and the animal cannot walk loose or enter the condominium's collective swimming pools. In addition, movement must comply with the rules applied in each condominium and is the responsibility for the owner to be informed about them before walking their pet;
  12. guests who hire our extra housekeeping and kitchen services should be aware that our team will only perform the service in the absence of the pet or if the owner is present the entire time they are on site;
  13. Under no circumstances may the property's linen be used for the comfort or cleaning of the animal, such as: towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, etc.;
  14. the animal may NOT climb onto beds, sofas or other furniture in the property. If found, an extra cleaning fee may be charged, in the amount of R$ 200.00 for disinfection and hair removal;
  15. the guardian must assume full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or material damage caused by their pet, suffered by any guest, employee or resident, exempting and indemnifying Moments Stays from any judicial or extrajudicial claim that may arise;
  16. Failure to comply with these rules may result in cancellation of the stay as a way of ensuring the well-being of other neighbors and preserving the property, in addition to incurring a fine of up to R$900.00 when applicable;
  17. Any charge for the amount designated for the extra cleaning fee and/or fine will be made in a single payment, in a non-negotiable manner, through the payment method used to reserve the property.
